It actually is as good as it was expected and it definitely wasn't a love story. It has more reality aspect, that not all relationship work every time.

Why, why, tell 'em that is human nature

I am sooo relieved that I had a not-so-hectic week this current week. While last week was...blegghhhh... so hectic that it actually can made me sleep at 10pm at night. I had three finals interviews (how can it be all in one week?) from Pertamina, Mandiri and BRI. Since the position in Pertamina was as not good as in Mandiri and BRI, I resigned from Pertamina, reducing my options into two. At the end I also resigned from Mandiri because I know that BRI is better, it's weird because most people think the opposite, well the figures and facts won't lie, will they?

And yes, finally I had seen This Is It. It was great and I feel the audiences can get to know Michael a little bit better. He always says "love" "love" "love" "bless you" "it's your time to shine" and all these words of encouragement. He was a good person after all. He's not just thinking about himself, he wanted others to feel special too.He saw and thought himself as Peter Pan and I guess that's why he loved children very much, but It doesn't make him a pervert or anything. I just think that when you're at the top, people tend to get jealous of you and they tend to make bad prejudice about MJ. They tried to mocked him and brought him down but he coped with all that just because of LOVE.

When I got back home, I listened to Jackson 5's I'll Be There and I don't know, somehow it made sad. His music didn't change a bit, from just a child until he was gone, it was all about love. Loving humans, loving others and even loving earth. Am I being too sensitive about this? hihihi I suppose so. It makes me so sad that he has worked so hard for this final concert of his and he wasn't able to fulfill it in the end. I sometimes think that his soul would float around on that stage full of regrets because he had an unfinished business, he wanted to grab the mike and his sequins gloves and to dance and to sing but he can't. But I guess he would also smile for what he's done for the world, for children, for earth, even tho' he'd shed some tears because he unintentionally broke his fans' heart for leaving them. So now, I dedicate this post to MJ, rest in peace MJ. We will love you forever, your songs and voice will live on ♥

hello everyone! finally, some leisure time to blog, fiuh. it's been what, a month since my last post? sorry guys (well whoever you are my loyal readers), I've been so busy these past weeks. I've had tons of job interviews, which most of them failed in a certain step. The first job call that I had was from Pertamina and it was literally the longest Psycho test that I ever had, it ran for 7 hours from 9 AM to 4 PM. Then they didn't contact me for about a month and then they called me to do a medical check up, which also was the longest med check I have ever experienced. They forced me to run on a treadmill for 12 minutes. hosh. They haven't contacted me again since then.

After that I tried out Castrol, I did get the job but I rejected it coz I didn't quite like the position. Other job interviews that I had was mostly in Banks such as Mandiri, HSBC, and now I just had BRI and BNI. In other words, my future job is still vague, so please pray for me guyssss, fiuhh

Thankfully I still have my girls around, being with them cheers me up when I miss Monsie the most, but I also miss my besti Cipoth, even tho' we're in the same city, it is so hard for us to meet :(

I think this post is a little long guys because I got so many news and stories to tell you, like this one: I just found out that Macan, one of my cat is an American Shorthair breed! No wonder he's bigger and heavier than my other cat, Macan's weight is about 8 kilos guys, he's so heavy! He sleeps in my mum room (like I do) and when he wants to go out of the room, he walks to my bed and just sit there staring me until I feel someone is watching, then I woke up and opened the door for him. He's so polite :)

Happy Birthday Queen of Mouse!

hello everyone, how you doin? I had a blast this week, mostly caused by reunions among us high school girlfriends, whom some I seldom see.

I must say, the highlight of the week was the one where we celebrate Acil's birthday. It was held last Thursday in Plaza Indonesia. We ate, we chatted and we laughed endlessly!

Mostly because we reminisced a lot about our lives back in Brisbane. See, I'm a very very naughty person, I loveeee to do pranks on my friends and my favorite victim is Chamon, my house mate in Brisbane.

The greatest prank and my proudest prank, is this:

See, during our UQ years, Chamon has been the one who woke up earliest, me being the second and Mya the latest. That time, my room was located exactly beside the bathroom.

One day, I heard Chamon went into the bathroom to take a shower. Me, still curled up under the blanket, still half asleep was thinking "gee, I think I'd like to do some pranks"

So I woke up, got out of my room and closed the door behind me quietly and tip-toed across the unit to Chamon's room and went under her bed. Yes, under. Her bed was exactly in front of her closet so my head was in front of her closet door. I managed the blanket so she won't see me under her bed when she came in. Then, I waited.

I heard she came out from the bathroom and came into her room. Seriously, I can stop laughing at the time but I forced myself to shut up. I can see her feet from under the bed and she was sitting on the bed, playing her phone and humming to Michael Jackson's Remember The Time from her iTunes if I'm not mistaken. I waited until she walked to her closet but she still sat there on her bed, maybe putting on some lotion.

And then, movement! she walked to her closet, opened it. I reached out my hand to grab her ankle and then BAMMM!!! I got her! She screamed like crazyyyyyyy!!!!!!!

Maybe she thinks I'm a ghost or something and I remember laughing so hard until I cried, she pulled me out of bed and hit me endlessly! Still, I can't stop laughing haha

So sorry Chaams, but it definitely was one of the best memory I had in Brisbane hahaha

Then she told me that she was buck naked when she walked into the closet but I swear I didn't see her! The blanket were distracting my vision hahaha, aah good times

So yes on Acil's birthday we talked about Brisbane and all things that we have experienced there, the good times and the bad times.

DotA has stolen my boyfriend!

For those of you whose boyfriend is addicted to a certain video game, raise your hands! cos' I certainly raise mine. Yes, Monsie is currently addicted to Dota!

first of all, let me explain what Dota is:

Not that I hate it when Monsie played the game, it's good for him because he gets to socialized. Usually he plays it with 5 or 6 friends, from 12 to 4 in the morning.

What does it means?

I was walking on school grounds, or Uni grounds, unfamiliar with the place, wearing a complete Ballerina outfit with the tutu and leotard. Then suddenly from afar I saw this huge tall trees and on the top there was a man. His name is Dina, as I recall, and he can fly. I swear I recognize his face but I can seem to remember his name. In real life, I think he's one of my college friend in UI, we never talk, we just know each other.

I came to a sense that Dina wants to help me with something, but I refuse his help because I don't wanna be a burden to anyone else. I avoided him by running to these massive escalators but suddenly he pulled my hands and we were flying. He said it's okay to accept help from someone else. I remember as a thank you, I said we can shake hands on it and I remember I shook his really big hand and there was a twin curly signs in his middle finger.

This is the kind of dreams that after I woke up, I wanna kept remember and recalling the dream again. That's why I wrote it down. Before this dream, I dreamt that I saw Brad Pitt and was asking for a picture together, but instead of that, he was kissing me! I swore I can feel I was smiling when I was asleep last night.

Sometimes I disappointed because I seldom dreamt about Monsie and sometimes I wish it was him I dreamt about. hmm, wish I can read dreams. Do your dreams is as weird as mine?

Hey everyone! I think I've been away for such a long long time. Rasanya kalau di Jakarta my urge to blog has decreased drastically. But I consider it as a bad habit and I'll put my best to stop it hihihi. A lot has happened in these past weeks, first: My UI graduation!

the first one was the Faculty of Economics Yudisium graduation, located at the FEUI car park, which they turned into a wedding-like fiesta with tents, red carpets and everything. the big mistake was: they didn't provide AC but they provided these really big fans which blow waters, the one exactly like in Dufan. so you can imagine that the girls who wore really thick make up, they melted right away.

another thing that disappointed me frankly, was that the graduates, mereka sibuk dengan kegiatannya masing-masing. when the event started, it supposed to be calm and quiet dan khusyuk. but it was so noisy and they all laughed and chatted and took endless pictures. too bad. I wish there were more order.

and there was the UI graduation rehearsal.

and the real UI graduation itself. the hottest graduation I've ever been experienced.

okay enough about graduation, remember that I told you about the bump in my chest? well, just about two days after the graduation, I was successfully being operated. the bump has gone but I still have a couple of bruises left. it's okay tho. the doctor was so nice to me, all I could remember was that I changed into operation attire, my mum prayed for me beside my operation bed, the nurse sticked a needle into my arm, we chatted a bit, asked me whether or not I have a boyfriend, then...nothing. I fell asleep and when I woke up I saw my brother and my mum, smiling and feeding me pudding (baru bangun langsung dikasi pudding!). I don't remember much but they said that I was chatty, I asked all these questions that I don't remember now.

this is me after the operation. still have asleep. I don't know why I gave the 'peace' sign.

anyway, I am psyched now! I just wish Monsie was here, I'm so lonely without him but well that's okay tho' :)

updates!!

sorry for the extra long hiatus, I've been experiencing a breakdown in these past weeks, mostly due to the fact of the long distance relationship I have to deal for the next five months. so today I'm gonna give you updates about my life after graduation, here we go!

1.) exactly the day after the graduation, the 23th of July, I went back to Indonesia for good. at first it was: "yaayyyy!" but when I got out of Soekarno-Hatta airport, I really can feel the humidity and the hot air that surrounded me that day, I assumed it was raining before I got there but instead of making the air cooler, it made the air hotter, you know, penguapan process and stuff

2.) knowing that I only have 9 days to spent with monsie before he went back to Brisbane, I made all these plans and stuffs I wanna do with him, just the usual dating stuffs like watching movies, going to Bandung and wisata kuliner, which we successfully did! me and monsie went to Bunga Rampai restaurant, recommended by the ultimate kuliner couple: acil and pandu, the resto reminded me of vintage batavia building, very classy and a wee bit pricey but the food was scrumptious.






3.) sickness attack! for the first vew weeks in Jakarta, I really can't stand the heat and loath the endless mosquitos. in two days before monsie left Jakarta, I was sick, real sick. high degrees of fever, can't move, can't stand, can't sit, it was awful, I thought it was demam berdarah or typus, thankfully it was just my body experiencing a shock of the rapid weather changes (I bet it was the heat). when I feel better, I had alergic, I assumed it was caused by the two plates of hakau dimsum I had with the girls the day before. My body was itching sooooo baaddd, I can't sleep and keep on scratching the whole time! I'm fine know tho' hehe

and oohh important for all ladies out there: when I was living in Brisbane I found a bump in my chest and last week I had a check up on it. it wasn't dangerous and won't develop into cancer but it still have to be removed. so I'll be having an operation after my UI graduation next week. so please girls be alert, check your body thoroughly, if you found any bump, go check on it! I'm thankful that I've discovered mine and God I'm sooooo relief it wasn't dangerous, but hey, you'll never know if you don't have the courage to check it. to be honest, it was the longest moment of my life being in that hospital, recommendation: go to Doctor Sammuel in Dharmais hospital, he's the best there is!

4.) Job hunting! yes, being a fresh graduate has its own ups and downs. ups: endless leisure times. most days me and mum went from malls to malls, shopping, eating. at home it was internet domination and my face usually covered in books, currently I'm on chapter 25 of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. downs: the PRESSURE when your dad asked: hari ini ngapain aja? udah lamar kerja? whahahahahaat? I'm not even officially graduating from UI. but yes I did feel the pressure. until this point, I have enrolled in Pertamina's psikotes (this occured during my high fever, so I think I won't pass huhu) and have applied for the MT position in Astra, Sampoerna and Mandiri. I'm gonna go with the big guys, wish me luck everyoneeee!

hellooo, it's been a long long time since my last post. I'm happy to announce that I'm officially domiciled in Jakarta, Indonesia. I left my dear old BNE last thursday for good huhu, weird thing was I didn't feel sad or lost, I think I felt completely numb, it was like going for a usual ride. Well I did feel kinda sad when the plane took off :'(

My graduation was....thrilling I must say. I felt sooo nervous when I was standing beside the podium, ready to be called to receive my diploma from the counselor. I said "HIDAYAT" to the announcer so he won't spell it wrong. Hidayat is my last name (dad's name actually) and my given name is Amanda Anindita, however they only announced the first and last name. after the graduation I felt sooo relieved. I can't believe that this is the end of my journey, well another journey will be coming really soon haha

Do not read this post if you haven't watched Half-Blood Prince. SPOILER ALERT!

Now I can scratch one of my movie wish list: the Half-Blood Prince. yaayyyy! when I got to South Bank cinema, the HBP screenings was full until 9 pm, and I remember it was only 12.30 noon, luckily, I bought the tickets online, hassle free :) the movie was great, the plot is just like the book, but I bet that if people don't read the book before watching the movies, they'll be a wee bit disapointed, especially the ending. some say it was "gantung" but the plot is just the same as the book. i wish they did make Dumbledore funeral scene, I bet it will make the ending more assuring.

Anyway, my favorite scenes was all Ron-related scenes and all Ginny-Harry-related scenes. Ron was amazing! sooo hilarious!
